Welcome!
You’ve discovered the perfect, heartfelt gift that is truly one-of-a-kind!
Finding unique gifts for our friends and loved ones can be so hard. We all want something personal, and what could be more so than a hand-drawn portrait of a cherished pet? Using professional pastels and coloured pencils, I specialize in custom pet portraits that capture the essence and individuality of your special companion, making for a truly meaningful gift whether it’s a birthday, anniversary or just because.
Giving a gift that resonates with love and memory will create a lasting keepsake that will be cherished for years to come.
Hi! I am an artist currently residing in beautiful country Victoria, Australia.
Do you remember when, growing up, you discovered something that gave you great joy and peace? But life takes hold, you lose sight of it and then years later you somehow get a chance to pause and look back and realise you stopped doing those things.
Hopefully you get a chance to rediscover what made a difference to you in those years.
For me, this was discovering a love for drawing and horses. Too young to drive, my appaloosa, Cara, obligingly drove me around the neighbouring farms, railway tracks and local town. She helped me discover a true love for horses, animals and nature.
For many of us, our beloved horses and pets become an undeniable source of joy and companionship in our lives. A beautifully crafted portrait makes the perfect gift to truly capture their unique characters.
I only use professional, high quality and lightfast materials - because when you entrust someone with your cherished portrait, you expect it to endure for many years to come… and also because it takes so many hours of prepping, trying to enhance photos for details which get lost when enlarged, sitting, drawing, organising pencils, colours,.. an eye alone can take a couple hours to get right and approx. 10 different colours! It’s a challenging and very rewarding process.
Hi, my name is Sonia, please feel free to reach out to discuss your own thoughts and ideas!
